2012 Heroes Breakfast

The Third Annual Heroes Breakfast took place on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Wichita Marriott Hotel. The event honored and recognized local heroes who performed extraordinary acts of courage and compassion. Nearly 350 guests attended the event that raised nearly $35,000 to support local Red Cross programs. The date for the 2013 Heroes Breakfast will be announced in spring 2013. 

 

Meet the 2012 Heroes and read about their inspiring actions and accomplishments. Heroes were selected by a committee of local leaders who reviewed more than 60 nominations submitted by individuals throughout south-central Kansas.

 

All proceeds from the Heroes Breakfast directly support the Midway-Kansas Chapter in its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. Last year, more than 80,000 local people received assistance from the Midway-Kansas Chapter.
